Vamos começar por falar do Júnior Eurovision deste ano .

Depois da vitoria da Malta em 2015 a Eurovisão deste ano vai ser realizada no próprio pais depois de várias emissoras  terem chegado a acordo sendo realizada  no Salão da República do Centro de Conferências do Mediterrâneo na capital maltesa Valletta.

Em 28 de Setembro de 2016, foi confirmado que dezessete países participariam do concurso. Chipre , Israel e Polônia voltaram depois de um ano , três anos e onze anos,respectivamente. Montenegro e Eslovênia se retiraram da competição depois de dois concursos, e San Marino retirou-se depois de competir nas últimas três edições.

Em 28 de outubro de 2016, foi anunciado que Valerie Vella e Ben Camille eram as apresentadoras do Concurso.

Durante uma conferência de imprensa em Estocolmo em 13 de maio de 2016, o logotipo e o slogan do concurso foram lançados, com a intenção de representar os valores do concurso: conectividade, diversidade, criatividade e respeito sendo escolhido o slogan "Abraço" e também mudanças no formato de votação para o concurso , anteriormente, os pontos eram dados com base em uma combinação de 50% de júris nacionais e 50% de televoto, de cada país com mais um conjunto de pontos também atribuídos por um Júri de Crianças. O novo sistema de votação seria uma adaptação do novo sistema utilizado no festival adulto, mas em vez do televoto, que foi removido, um júri infantil seria usado por cada país, levando ao fim do uso do televoto pela primeira vez, e também a retirada dos 12 pontos iniciais.

Let's start by talking about the Junior Eurovision this year . 

After the victory of the Malta in 2015 the contest this year will be held in the own parents after several broadcasters have reached agreement being held in the hall of the conference center at the Mediterranean in Maltese capital Valletta. During a press conference in Stockholm on 13 May 2016, the logo and slogan competition were launched, with the intention of representing the values of the contest: connectivity, diversity, creativity and respect being chosen the slogan "Embrace".

And also changes in shape of voting for the contest earlier in the points were based on a combination of 50% of national juries and 50% of Televote, each country with over a set of points also attributed by a 'jury of children.The new voting system would be an adaptation of the new system used in the adult, but instead of the televote, which was removed, a jury's playground would be used by each country, leading to the end of the use of the televote for the first time, and also the withdrawal of 12 initial points.
