Vamos começar por falar do Júnior Eurovision deste ano .

Após a vitória da Itália no Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014, a European Broadcasting Union deu hipotese à Italia de sediar o concurso de 2015. No entanto, em 15 de janeiro  a sua emissora recusou o direito de sediar o concurso. Em 7 de Outubro de 2015, foi confirmado que 17 países participariam no concurso com a Austrália e Irlanda a fazerem sua estréia, a Albânia a voltar após uma ausência de dois anos e a Macedônia a voltar  após uma ausência de um ano . A Croácia e Chipre se retiraram depois de retornar na edição de 2014, enquanto que a Suécia retirou pela primeira vez desde 2008 . Foi a primeira vez desde 2007 que participaram 17 países. Em 21 de outubro de 2015 foi anunciada que a cantora Polina Genova seria a apresentadora do Concurso. 

Em 26 de janeiro de 2015, foi anunciado que a Bulgária havia sido escolhida para sediar a edição de 2015 e em Março foi escolhida Sofia  como a cidade anfitriã, sendo a Arena Armeec o local de acolhimento. Em 22 de maio de 2015 na conferência de imprensa, foi escolhido o slogan para o concurso que seria  "Descubrir".
